Roland M. Toups is the Chairman and CEO of Turner
Industries, Ltd. a $700 Million industrial services
firm specializing in construction, maintenance,
pipe fabrication, equipment and rigging operations,
plus other related capabilities, performing work
both domestically and overseas.
Toups is the Chairman of numerous organizations,
including the Greater Baton Rouge Chamber of Commerce,
the Louisiana Chemical Industry Alliance, the United
Way Board of Directors, the Rotary Club of Baton
Rouge, and the Mayor's Anti-Drug Task Force. He
is also the President of the Baton Rouge Industrial
Contractors Association and serves on the boards
of the Louisiana State Board of Regents for Higher
Education, the Council for a Better Louisiana, the
Bank One Advisory Board, Junior Achievement, and
the Louisiana Arts & Science Center.
He has been honored with the National Conference
for Community & Justice's Brotherhood Award
and the Volunteer Activist of Baton Rouge Award,
and has been inducted into the Louisiana State University
Construction Hall of Fame.
All lectures begin at 10am and are held at the
LSU Lod Cook Alumni Center at 3838 W. Lakeshore
Drive.
