Gerald L. (Jerry) Kohlenberger is President of Global
Services at ExxonMobil Corporation, a global leader
in oil, natural gas, and petrochemicals with operations
in about 200 countries. The parent company, which
was formed by the November 1999 merger of Exxon
Corporation and Mobil Corporation, is headquartered
in Irving, Texas, and is involved in the exploration
and production of oil and gas; the manufacturing
and marketing of fuels, lubes and chemicals; electric
power generation; and coal andminerals operations.
Kohlenberger, whose career began with Mobil in 1974,
also serves as Vice-President of Information Services
for the Corporation. Prior to this, he had served
as General Manager of Information Services and as
Chief Information Officer of Mobil Corporation since
September 1997. Kohlenberger has served on the Construction
Industry Institute Board of Advisors and on the
Business Roundtable Construction Subcommittee, and
currently participates in several IT related panels,
including the Virginia Governor's CIO Advisory Board.
